[Heilongjiang province](https://www.hlj.gov.cn/hlj/c107860/202610/c00_31988778.shtml) reports that autumn hovercraft passenger service between Heihe and Blagoveshchensk began on 27 October during the river ice-drift period. [China News](https://www.chinanews.com/sh/shipin/cns-d/2026/10-27/news1073113.shtml) describes the first voyage and eight vessels from both sides. This is a seasonal handover of service, not a new permanent border crossing; daily passenger totals were not provided.
